The historic Belhaven neighborhood was once Jackson’s first suburb. Comprised of over 1,300 historic homes and buildings dating back to as early as 1904, our neighborhood is Mississippi’s largest historic district. Belhaven includes a wide variety of architectural styles and a number of commercial and residential developments, churches, and educational institutions. The Belhaven Historic District proudly sits on the National Register of Historic Places.
